Advanced Epi-Fluorescence Module

Advanced Epi-Fluorescence Module allows the research-grade smartphone microscope to have fluorescence observation capabilities comparable to laboratory-level equipment. The module uses an objective lens coaxial excitation design, with the excitation light and fluorescence signal sharing the same optical path, effectively improving image clarity and resolution.
The black Cube contains a professional dichroic mirror that precisely separates excitation and emission light. It can be paired with the community's dedicated purple fluorescence module and blue fluorescence module, providing stable and high-contrast observation effects, suitable for advanced research applications such as cells and biological samples.
First released for registration in the main community on July 21, 2019.

1. Avoid direct exposure to LED light source: Fluorescence excitation light (especially purple or blue LED) is high-energy short-wave light. Please absolutely avoid direct eye exposure to prevent retinal damage.
2. Anti-fluorescence observation method: If you're not familiar with the operation method, it's recommended to wear 'orange goggles' or 'red goggles' (as shown in the image above), or use the 'light shield' observation method.
3. Avoid sample overexposure: Prolonged exposure of fluorescent samples can cause photobleaching, leading to weakened or even disappeared fluorescence signals. Use intermittent observation or reduce LED light intensity for photography.
4. Ensure dark room environment: When conducting fluorescence observation, fluorescence reactions can still occur in normal environments, just less obvious; operating in a dark room or light-shielded environment can reduce background light interference.
