Fluorescence Observation of Coffee Beans

Since the release of the fluorescence module for the smartphone macro microscope, the range of everyday objects that can be examined with fluorescence has expanded significantly. Fluorescence observation is no longer just an optional feature found on microscopes—it has become a scientific tool that can be used anytime and anywhere. After seeing a community member share fluorescence images of raw coffee beans, I became curious whether roasted beans would also show fluorescence. So, I picked up a few and took a closer look.
