Introduction to Journal Club
Journal Club is a tool that turns journal articles into presentation slides. Upload a full PDF of a paper and the software converts it into slides according to your chosen options. It runs on both Windows and macOS. For macOS, see this walkthrough on running .exe files on a Mac with Wine.
It supports local Ollama and llama.cpp, and Google AI Studio API access (free daily quota). Output can be in Chinese, English, or mixed Chinese–English, with seven slide styles: Classic Academic, Modern Academic, Clinically Oriented, Research Methods, Literature Review, Case Study, and Teaching Oriented.
