Introduction
The first generation of the inverted research smartphone microscope was made of acrylic and was not publicly available for registration. The second generation was 3D printed and was first announced for registration in the main group on October 4, 2023.
The new combined inverted mirror base uses two first-surface mirrors to reverse the light path, allowing direct use of the camera's main lens.
It's perfect for observing dynamic activities in water, such as various petri dishes or Cell Culture Dishes, without needing to press with a slide. It can also be used with the Advanced Epi-fluorescence Module's fluorescence cube to directly observe fluorescence in cultured cells.
